Some people are upset about the way a Red Bluff Area CHP Officer handled a traffic stop over the weekend. The officer pulled over a McClaren Spider, a car that costs Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars, after clocking it at 151 Miles an Hour. He then discovered the man behind the wheel had no driver’s license. The officer opted not to arrest the driver and impound the car. Instead he cited him for the speeding and the lack of a license, then allowed his wife, who had a license, to drive both of them away. The CHP says the officer had used proper discretion and they posted the story on social media, but they’ve since taken it down.
