There’s money to be claimed following a mock bank robbery as part of Redding Rodeo Week. At 8:45AM Tuesday morning the Lone Stranger and Accomplice robbed the Five Star Bank on Hartnell Avenue and, as usual, the Asphalt Cowboys were unable to stop them. A reward of $500 is available for finding the loot today. Here’s the first clue:
The Stranger and sidekick slipped away with the loot,
And put it where a tree had just taken root.
The spot they decided would be only the best,
And would put would-be finders’ minds to the test.

This just in: Five Star hit in a robbery today,
By the Lone Stranger and Sidekick, the Cowboys gave chase.
They ran through the town by rail and 44,
