A fire broke out late Tuesday afternoon just north of Dersch Road near Ash Creek Road. Crews had a hose lay around it by 7 O’clock Tuesday night and it was contained to less than 5 acres.
Also Tuesday, a 100 foot spot was extinguished off Palm Avenue in the Olinda area.
