A house fire in Old Shasta early Tuesday morning that took the life of an elderly man appears to have been electrical in nature. According to the Shasta Fire Protection District which responded along with crews from Cal Fire and Shasta Lake City Fire. Jim Weaver was not able to be revived after CPR attempts. His son David was sent to UC Davis Burn Center in Sacramento with serious injuries. There is now a Gofundme page to help the family with expenses. Search Weaver Family to find the link.
