The annual Memorial Day Ceremony in Igo will be held on Monday beginning at 11AM. It begins with a flyover by Pilot Ron Lim, followed by a bell ringing ceremony, echo taps, and a rifle salute. Music will be provided by the Enterprise High School Band, and the Jefferson Pipe Band. The Guest speaker is Troy Payne, Shasta County Veterans Service Officer. The Northern California Veterans Cemetery is located on Gas Point Road in Igo. Arrive early as parking is limited.
In Redding the 33rd annual Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 30th at 11AM at the Memorial Grove at the Redding Civic Auditorium. If you wish to lay a wreath, you will need to call 530-357-3380. Lunch will be provided following the ceremony.
