Redding Police conducted a DUI checkpoint last Thursday night on the westbound lanes of South Bonnyview Road. Between 6PM and 11PM, 1,545 vehicles passed through, 1,408 drivers were screened for licenses and sobriety. 25 vehicles were detained, 13 drivers were given field sobriety tests, 6 unlicensed drivers were cited and 2 vehicles were towed. Nobody was arrested.
