Caltrans has postponed a project to clear dangerous boulders from above Highway 299 in Eastern Shasta County. Delays of up to an hour-and-a-half are expected a little west of Fall River Mills. The project was going to start Monday but it’s been pushed back a week to next Monday, and is expected to continue for two weeks on the stretch of Highway 299 known as the “Pit One Grade”. Updates can be found on the Caltrans “Quickmap” site and app.
