A man who led police on a wild chase in Red Bluff has been sentenced. On the 18th of April, 56-year-old Larry Moses Allen was leaving the Red Bluff Roundup with one headlight burned out and the trunk of his car open, and a deputy tried to pull him over. Allen would not yield to the lights and sirens, leading deputies on a lengthy pursuit around town at high speeds, running multiple red lights and stop signs and crashing through barricades. He was eventually apprehended after he came to the end of a dead-end street. Allen has pled guilty to felony fleeing an officer while driving recklessly, and he’s been sentenced to 3 years in state prison.
