The latest available update from the Shasta County Elections Office is the same as Wednesday morning, showing Joanna Francescut with 56% of the vote over Clint Curtis’s 44% in their race for Clerk and Registrar of Voters. In the Board of Supervisors District One race, Erin Resner has 54%, well ahead of District One incumbent kKevin Crye with 39%. The incumbent is also behind in the District 5 race, with Mike Gallagher pulling ahead of Chris Kelstrom by 49% to 41%. Approval of the election reform initiative Measure B currently leads by 56% to 44%. With only a handful of ballots processed, all the contests are too early to call.
