A woman was killed when she collided with a big rig in Tehama County on Thursday. At 5:45PM, the unidentified female driver of a 2003 Toyota SUV was southbound on Highway 99W north of Riverside Avenue in Red Bluff when she inexplicably made a sudden swerve to the left into the path of a Freightliner semi truck. They collided head-on and the woman was declared dead at the scene. The trucker was not injured. 99W was closed for about 3 hours.
