There was a dramatic chase and crash on Interstate 5 Wednesday night. At around 7 O’clock a CHP Officer tried to stop a car for speeding on Southbound I-5 near Bridge Bay. The driver would not yield but continued at high speed until crashing into the back of a truck at 90 miles an hour near the Market Street Exit south of Oasis. The 37-year-old female driver was apparently not injured, but was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
