A 34-year-old Redding man has made a plea deal for the shooting death of his mother. Last December 27th, Robert Cartee shot his mother, 57-year-old Nancy Grimmer, in the home they shared on Shadow Glen Drive, in a neighborhood east of Twin View in North Redding. After pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter with a firearm enhancement, Cartee has been sentenced to 15 years in state prison.
