A Shasta County man has been convicted by a jury after years of violently abusing the mother of his children. 41-year-old Samuel Gustav Simonis was found guilty of multiple counts of inflicting corporal injury and assault with great bodily injury, as well as child endangerment, disobeying court orders and dissuading a witness. Sentencing is set for July 9th.
