An arson arrest has been made for a fire last Thursday near Shingletown. The fire was burning in heavy fuels of Oak and Pine. It started a little before 11AM off Wengler Hill Road and Inwood Road, and was contained at 3.5 acres. A civilian at the scene was treated for heat-related illness. Cal Fire Law Enforcement found a 28-year-old man from Sacramento near the edge of the fire and determined he had ignited it. He was arrested for arson of forest land.
