Anderson Man Killed In Weekend Crash

A 25-year old Anderson man is dead following a fiery collision with another vehicle on Panorama Point Road Saturday evening. The still unidentified driver was headed south, just south of Kimberly Road when for unknown reasons allowed his 2004 GMC Yukon to cross over the double yellow line and into the path of a 2020 Chevy Colorado driven by 77-year old Paul Pascual Jr of Cottonwood. According to the California Highway Patrol, the GMC was pushed onto the railroad tracks, catching fire, while the Chevy landed on the right shoulder. Pasqual sustained lacerations to his right arm and was treated at Mercy Medical Center. The CHP is still investigating.
