A small fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in an area where an arson suspect was arrested a couple weeks ago. The Orchard Fire was stopped by a quick response and held to a quarter acre near Wangler Hill Road and Orchard Lane in the Inwood area.
About 2 acres of brush and undergrowth burned in the Shell Fire south of Fort Jones Tuesday. Cal Fire says the blaze was started by someone using a mower during dangerous conditions.
