One lane of Placer Street was briefly closed just after Noon Monday for a fire just west of Buenaventura. It was contained at about a quarter acre.
The 3-1 Pit Fire in Lassen County near the Shasta County line is still 1,055 acres and is now 85% contained.
To the south of that, a 101 acre portion of what was the Lumbee Fire is being managed as part of the Loomis Fire to the northeast, the bulk of which is 656 acres and 18% contained.
What remains of the Lumbee Fire is 8 acres.
