Customers of the Sugarloaf Water System in Lakehead no longer need to boil their water before consuming it. Water stopped flowing on Friday for the service area, and Shasta County Public Works said that once service was restored people would need to boil water before using it for human consumption. Tests have now confirmed it’s safe, according to officials.
