Wenham Raises 21K For City Council Bid

The candidate filing period for Redding City Council just opened on Monday, but candidate Russ Wenham says he’s hit the ground running with almost $21,000 contributed so far. His campaign says the money was all gathered prior to June 30th from 68 individual donors. Wenham has been a Redding Planning Commissioner for the past two years, and he’s also worked as a civil engineer and engineering consultant. He’s vying for one of three open seats on the council. The other candidates who have announced they’re running so far are Christina Prosperi and two incumbents, Jack Munns and Tenessa Audette.
