A Shasta County man has been charged with murder for the death of a woman he was supposed to be caring for. 62-year-old Thomas Adolf Grokenberger was the caregiver for 70-year-old Jerri Lynn Greene. He’s accused of subjecting her to extreme neglect and severe starvation that led to her death. Grokenberger was arraigned last week and he returns to court Wednesday.
