A young Shasta County girls softball team remains undefeated. The Foothill Area Little League Junior All Star Softball Team based out of Palo Cedro won all their games in the Nor-Cal State Tournament, then the West Region Little League Tournament in Tuscon, Arizona, and now they’re at the Little League Junior Softball World Series in Kirkland, Washington. They’ve won their first two games, defeating an East Coast team Monday 2 to nothing. Kylie Kenyon pitched 7 innings and hit a two run home run in the first inning. On Tuesday the team takes on Canada in game three, which will be televised on ESPN+ at 10AM.
