Authorities Raid Numerous Illegal Cannabis Gardens In Tehama County

During the first two weeks of August the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office says they raided multiple unauthorized Cannabis gardens in an operation done with several local, state and federal agencies. Eight search warrants were served, resulting in the seizure of more than 9,900 growing plants and 250 Pounds of processed Marijuana bud. Deputies also took nine guns, including semi-automatic assault weapons and high capacity magazines, as well as around $20,000. Deputies say they found a lot of fertilizers, pesticides and other harmful chemicals. The raids were done on both private and public lands in mostly remote areas near Campbellville, Platina and Manton, and in the far southern and western reaches of the county.
