Two arson arrests have been made by Cal Fire Officers in Siskiyou County. On Sunday afternoon crews responded to an illegal fire at Lake Siskiyou. A 68-year-old man apparently tried to run but was caught and arrested for felony unsafe and illegal burning with an open flame. Sunday night at 10:30PM there was a roadside fire in Montague that was found to be intentionally caused. A 71-year-old man was taken to Fairchild Medical Center for minor burns and then booked into jail on a felony arson charge.
