A shopping center at Oasis Road and Twin View Boulevard has been unanimously approved by the Redding Planning Commission after their vote had previously been delayed.On July 28th the commission was set to hear a permit request for a commercial development that would include hotels, restaurants, drive-throughs, retail stores and a gas station. The plan is to split the 36.5 acre property into nine parcels, and re-route Twin View Boulevard. The city attorney recommended a delay at that time so the developer could complete the environmental review process. The approval was done Tuesday, but the developer still has further steps to take to get the project permitted.
