Tuesday night there was a power pole on fire at the Park Marina RV Park on Park Marina Drive. The lines were de-energized at around 10:40AM and Redding Fire extinguished the flames. The fire apparently started in a large Osprey nest at the top of the pole, which may have crossed wires. A few hundred Redding Electric Utility customers were affected, and their power was restored by around 2AM.
