The City of Redding has confirmed that Ironman 70.3 will return next year. The race includes a 1.2 mile swim, a 56-mile bicycle course and a 13.1 mile run. This time it’ll be scheduled in a cooler season, though the tri-athletes certainly got lucky with the cool August weather this year. The 2027 Ironman event will take place on May 23rd. Registration begins September 17th.
