The California Supreme Court will meet in Redding as part of an outreach program. The high court is visiting several cities to allow the public a chance to see the workings of justice at the state’s highest level. Oral arguments will be held in a session that’s open to the public at the David Marr Auditorium inside U-Prep on Eureka Way. Prior to the proceedings, students may ask question of the justices. It’s hoped that the insight and up close look at workings of the court may inspire some students to pursuit a career in law. The session will be held October 7th. It can also be streamed live at supreme.courts.ca.gov.
