It’s all about the bees and their industrious ways at the annual Palo Cedro Honeybee Festival this weekend. The event will feature a wide variety of arts and crafts, business, food and non-profit vendor booths, as well as vintage tractors, kids entertainment, and a pancake breakfast. What really sets this event apart is attractions like the famous “bee beard” demonstration. There will also be a kid’s area with lots of things to do. Palo Cedro is the honeybee capital of Northern California and the queen bee capital of the world. The festival starts at 8AM and runs until 5 O’clock Saturday and 4 O’clock Sunday at the Bishop Quinn Center, accessible by way of Old 44 Drive.
