An enormous unlicensed cannabis operation has been uncovered in Northern Lassen County, according to the sheriff’s office. An investigation was opened in June and 47 search warrants were served last month and this month on parcels believed to be involved. None of the sites had permits from the state or Lassen County. The sheriff’s office had help from state and federal agents in executing the raids. More than 151,000 growing plants were found, along with nearly 20,000 Pounds of processed bud. The sheriff’s office says they also seized 11 guns and Thousands of Pounds of trash and dangerous pesticides. The property owners will be taxed on the size of each growing operation.
