A man has been murdered in the small town of Macdoel, and the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the killer. The dead body was discovered inside a home and reported to 911 at 7:30PM Saturday night. 63-year-old Michael Emmet Hurlburt, a Macdoel resident, had suffered gunshot wounds. His family has been notified. Sheriff’s detectives are seeking leads, with tips accepted at 841-2900, or on the department’s website.
