A man from Fillmore, California was arrested on drug and weapons charges during a traffic stop in south Redding. The RPD reported Thursday that 52-year-old Miguel Morales was pulled over for multiple violations in the area of Highway 273 and Cedars Road. A search reportedly turned up 20 ounces of methamphetamine, an ounce of fentanyl and a 9mm handgun. The gun did not have a serial number and was apparently a “ghost gun”. Morales is also on post release supervision and prohibited from possessing a firearm. He was booked on multiple charges.
