PG&E has warned of possible Public Safety Power Shutoffs for Friday and over the weekend. If a forecasted wind event occurs, the utility might cut electricity to as many as 12,200 customers in 17 counties, including 6,800 in Shasta County and 2,350 in Tehama County.
