Shasta County has the unfortunate distinction of having one of the highest occurrences in the state of adverse childhood experiences. To counter that, the community needs to foster an atmosphere of positive child experiences. Anyone who wants to be part of the solution is welcome to attend an event Thursday evening at the Cascade Theatre.
