A fire that started Sunday afternoon southeast of Montague was ignited intentionally, according to Cal Fire Investigators. Evacuations were ordered as the fire off Jade Avenue began spreading and spotting. It was finally contained Monday at 15 acres. One structure burned down and another one was damaged. Sunday evening a Cal Fire Officer arrested an 42-year-old Montague man and he was booked into jail on one felony and four misdemeanors.
