A murder suspect has been identified by Redding Police. 39-year-old Justin Knight is a Paralegal and the owner of Precision Legal Documents and Record Clearing. Early Friday morning officers responded to a home on Washington Avenue in the Garden Tract. A woman had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. Knight was there, unresponsive due to an apparent overdose. He was transported to a hospital and was medically cleared Monday. After being interviewed by Redding Police Detectives, Knight was booked into jail for murder with a firearms enhancement. A witness was also at the home. He has not been publicly named, nor has the victim. Anyone with information that can help the investigation is encouraged to call 225-4214.
