A dispute will come to a head at Tuesday nights Redding City Council Meeting between the tenants of the Redding Motorsports Park. Operators of the Redding Dragstrip and the operators of the road course at the same site disagree on the terms of the lease being negotiated. The issue heated up when the dragstrip managers noticed that the Supermoto Club had contributed $1,500 to Councilmember Tenessa Audette’s re-election campaign. They’re now asking that she recuse herself from Tuesday’s vote. City staff is recommending that separate leases be negotiated for each group.
