A Redding man who was killed when his pickup was struck by an allegedly drunk driver over the weekend has been identified by the Coroners Office as 78-year-old Jose Luis Zuno. At 3:15PM Saturday afternoon, Zuno was pulling onto Hartnell Avenue from the driveway of a business a little east of Churn Creek Road when his 1999 Chevy pickup was struck by an eastbound 2005 Chevy pickup driven by 31-year-old Daveiontay Norwood. Zuno was trapped in his pickup and unconscious. Redding Fire Personnel extricated him and he was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
