A Redding man arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, child abuse and terrorist threats also faces a charge of animal cruelty. 21-year-old Mikah Jacobie Brooks was arrested last Monday. In addition to other crimes, Brooks is accused of stomping to death his family’s pet chicken.
