Releases Into The Sacramento River Will Drop To 7,000 CFS By Next Tuesday

Water releases from the Bureau of Reclamation into the Sacramento River will be ramping down over the next week. Currently at 15,000 cubic feet per second, the decrease will begin Thursday and in a gradually step by step process that concludes next Tuesday, the flow will be down to 7,000 cubic feet per second. Lake Shasta is currently 24 feet from the crest of the dam.
