Shasta County has publicly released the list of candidates they’ll be interviewing for Clerk and Registrar of Voters. After choosing 15 of the original 39, another 6 dropped out, leaving 9 to be interviewed publicly Tuesday and Wednesday. On the first day the supervisors will all vote for one candidate to advance, while they’ll each nominate one additional, with the final 6 receiving a second grilling on Wednesday. The list of names, as well as their submitted applications and resumes, have been posted at shastacounty.gov.
