A fire in Jones Valley is now 75% contained. Forward progress on the Hidden Fire was stopped Monday at 45 acres. Crews will be mopping up for a few days and residents in the area are advised to use caution as emergency vehicles continue to move around.
A large fire in Colusa County has burned 15,565 acres and is now 5% contained. The Sites Fire southeast of Stonyford started Monday in high winds and is mostly burning in tall grass and brush. A number of nearby residents are under evacuation orders.
