Domestic Violence Charges Dropped Against Husband Of Missing Woman

The husband of a missing Anderson woman was in court on Friday on domestic abuse charges, while about 200 people outside were rallying for justice. Tyler McCain – who also was cited last week for causing the Olinda Fire after he left a car running in dry grass – had the abuse charges against him dismissed for a lack of evidence. His wife, Nikki has been missing since May 17th and was supposed to be the only witness against him in court. The District Attorneys Office said that because she was not present to testify the judge had no choice but to drop the charges. Tyler McCain has not been implicated in the disappearance of his wife. Last week her two sisters made an appearance on the Nancy Grace crime show, and said he has not participated in any of the search efforts. There is a $10,000 reward offered for information leading to her whereabouts.
