A Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Deputy and another driver were both injured in a head-on collision Monday afternoon. At 2:15PM, the Deputy was driving west on County Road A-12 near Lake Shastina when an eastbound vehicle abruptly crossed over the center line into the Deputy’s path, according to the Sheriff’s Office. They crashed head-on. Both drivers were transported to Fairchild Medical Center in Yreka with non-life-threatening injuries. The CHP is investigating.
