A quick response kept an East Redding vegetation fire fairly small Tuesday. Redding Fire Department was dispatched at 1:30PM to Gordon Lane in the Arizona Street area. They found a quarter acre of tall grass and poison oak going up in flames. The fire was contained to less than an acre. The cause is not known.
