The Shasta-Trinity National Forest is continuing some prescribed burning this week, as weather allows. Up to 190 acres is being torched along Interstate 5 between Packers Bay and Antlers Bridge, as well as 150 acres of hand piles near Hayfork, 150 acres of piles near Trinity Lake and 150 acres near Mule Creek. The areas may close to the public for a few days.
