2nd Earthquake Rumbles Susanville Area On Tuesday Night

Northern California was jolted by a second moderate earthquake late Tuesday night, registered as a magnitude 4.9, according to preliminary seismic reports. The earthquake struck on December 30 at 9:49PM, and the quake’s epicenter was located about 10 miles north-northeast of Susanville. Tuesday nights quake follows a magnitude 4.7 which struck near the same area on Sunday night.
