Four people were killed in a head-on crash in Trinity County Saturday evening. The CHP says a little before 7 O’clock on Highway 299 between Big Bar and Del Loma a westbound Jeep Grand Cherokee crossed over the center line on a curve and collided head-on with a Chevy Impala. Four of the five occupants of the Impala were declared dead at the scene. A 21-year-old female passenger was taken by helicopter with major injuries. The Jeep driver was also seriously injured, but survived and is being investigated for possible intoxication. no names have been released.
