Four recovering drug addicts will walk away this Friday clean, sober, and free to continue their lives without the influence of narcotics. The Shasta County Superior Court’s Addicted Offender Program is very intensive, involving comprehensive drug treatment, close supervision, and full accountability to the court. Successful graduates spend an average of 21 months in the program, with frequent random drug testing. The public is invited to this Friday’s commencement ceremony at 10AM in the Veteran’s Hall on Yuba Street in Downtown Redding. Graduates will have an opportunity to speak about their experience, and often share inspiring tales of renewed hope.
