If you travel on Highway 44 near Silver Bridge Road you will need to reduce your speed to 55 MPH beginning Tuesday. Caltrans and the Highway Patrol have reduced the speed to help reduce accidents in the area, and to allow motorists more time to safely enter and exit the highway.
