Six people were killed and one was left in critical condition after a crash between between a pickup truck and a Tehama County transit bus on Highway 99W south of Gyle Road Wednesday morning, according to the CHP. The crash happened around 10AM after the driver of a gray Toyota Tacoma, traveling at unknown speeds, crossed a double-yellow line into oncoming traffic and head-on into a Tehama County transit bus. The crash resulted in fatal injuries for the driver of the Toyota. At the same time, the CHP said the driver of the bus and four passengers were pronounced dead at the scene after the bus immediately caught fire. One bus passenger was flown to Enloe Medical Center with major injuries.The CHP said officials are working to identify everyone involved.
